If I Don't Write It Down, Will I Remember It?
An interview with guest author Jaimee Kosanke about childhood memories, sisterhood, and creativity
I had the privilege of speaking with Jaimee Kosanke, the author of Monday’s beautiful guest post, My Sister’s Hand, in the Breadcrumbs Project series, and today’s bonus column is our transcribed discussion over Zoom last week. Jaimee and I talk about creativity and career paths for Gen Xers, the middle of the night burst of inspiration, the incomparable sibling bond, and how for better or worse, our childhood experiences give us roots.
Jaimee wrote this piece in response to a writing prompt as part of The HerStories Project’s Small Steps online writing workshop and community. You can find out more about our online group writing experiences and our Substack publication exploring midlife relationships, MidStory Magazine, here.
